Quality Construction…
While there are many types of pools available, our years of experience have proven one type of pool superior to all others for Louisiana’s extreme and changeable climate and soil conditions. For this reason, Russell Pools builds only gunite pools. A gunite pool is the only type of pool that will withstand the long-term effects of intense ultraviolet rays from the sun and the natural settling and subsidence of Louisiana soil.
Every Russell Pool is built using #3 steel rebars placed on eight inch centers throughout the pool walls and floor, with an additional 12” by 12” beam of #4 steel rebars run continuously around the pool. High-pressure gunite is then forced into the steel subframe with a minimum thickness of 5” on all pool walls and 6” on the pool floor. Pools are then finished with top-grade “marble plaster” for the finest texture and finish possible. The result is a pool that’s both naturally beautiful and extremely durable, offering years of carefree use for you and your family.
